The first ten chapters mirror ”The Principles” text, covering the time value of money, the valuation of bonds and stocks, and practical capital budgeting decisions. This text focuses on all the complex aspects of teaching mathematics in today’s classroom and the most current NCTM standards. The 17th Edition builds upon the tradition of leadership by sticking to 3 main goals: help the beginning student master the principles essential for understanding the economizing problem, specific economic issues, and the policy alternatives; help the student understand and apply the economic perspective and reason accurately and objectively about economic matters; and promote a lasting student interest in economics and the economy. The textbook concludes with a chapter summarizing rehabilitation and approaches to intervention. Offering a format that is significantly different than that offered by other books, Ethical Health Care beings by asking what is meant by health and how it is achieved. This text is aimed at a one-term course taken by allied health and agricultural science students. Over 200 worked examples and more than 1,300 end of chapter problems provide the use opportunities to practice solving problems related to concepts in the text. There are no precedents for this growth and speed of development, and critical issues involving learning, safety, comfort, movement, and control have not been addressed in depth. The book organizes the crucial and most elemental information, combining clear instructional figures and tables with clinically relevant text.
